Here's the honest truth about returns at Uutsav Vibes - festival items are special, and we want to be upfront about what works and what doesn't when it comes to exchanges and refunds.

The Reality of Festival Shopping

When you're buying Ganesh murtis, rakhis, or decorations from us, you're getting handcrafted pieces that are often one-of-a-kind. Many of our murtis are single pieces with unique designs you won't find anywhere else. Once these sacred items are used in your prayers or ceremonies, they can't be returned - and honestly, you wouldn't want someone else's used ceremonial items either.

If You Need to Cancel Your Pre-Order

Life happens, and sometimes plans change. If you need to cancel: Same Day Cancellation: Call or email us the same day you placed your order, and we'll sort it out with a full refund.

Next Day or Later: Once we've started coordinating with our suppliers or preparing your items, it gets tricky. Give us a call anyway - we'll see what we can do, but we can't promise anything.

When You Pick Up at Our Warehouse

Our Mississauga warehouse is where you can see everything up close before you take it home. Here's how it works:

  • Take your time looking at your items when you're here

  • Ask us questions, compare sizes, check the details

  • If something doesn't feel right, let's figure it out while you're still here

  • Once you leave with your purchase, that's it - no bringing things back

We'd rather spend extra time with you at pickup than deal with disappointment later.

City Deliveries (For 10+ Murti Orders)

When we come to your city - whether it's Hamilton, London, or anywhere else in Ontario - the same rule applies. Check everything when we arrive. If there's an issue, we'll handle it right then and there. After we leave, we can't take items back.

What If Something Goes Wrong?

Sometimes things happen during our warehouse pickups or city deliveries, or we make a genuine mistake. We'll absolutely help if:

  • Your murti got damaged while getting to you

  • We brought you the wrong size or design

  • There's a craftsmanship issue we missed during quality check

  • The item looks nothing like what you expected based on our description

Important: You need to tell us within 48 hours of getting your items. After that, we assume everything's fine. 

We are NOT responsible for any damage that occurs during shipping. Once we hand your items to the shipping carrier, any damage during transit is entirely your responsibility. We include $100 insurance that you can claim directly with the shipping company if needed.

Shipping damage cannot be returned or refunded by us - you'll need to work directly with the carrier and their insurance process.

What We Can't Take Back

This might sound strict, but it's necessary:

  • Any murti that's been used in puja or touched by water/oils

  • Rakhis that have been worn or handled a lot

  • Items you've changed your mind about

  • Decorations that have been hung up or used

  • Anything damaged after it left our care

How We'll Fix Things

If we messed up or something arrived damaged in our city delivery, here's what we can do:

  • Find you a replacement (if we have something similar)
  • Give you credit for future festival shopping
  • Offer a partial refund if the item is still usable but not perfect
  • Work out a custom solution that makes sense for your situation

The Bottom Line

We don't ship anything, so all returns have to happen either at our warehouse or during our scheduled city visits. Most of our items are unique pieces, so exact replacements aren't always possible. And because we're seasonal, what's available changes throughout the year.

We're not trying to make returns difficult just to be difficult. These are sacred, delicate items that deserve respect. But if we've genuinely let you down, we'll make it right.
